Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band founded out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is made from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, kpop albums online keyboard) and his adolescence pal, Spencer Smiths (drums), along with their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To sell their tune, the band made touch with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) due to his LiveJournal web site. Impressed by means of the band, Wentz personally met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band launched their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which may debut at #112 on the Billboard two hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin magazine as their band of the day in early October 2005, achieving #1 on the MySpace chart, and continually staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, would solely help develop the bands reputation. An appearance on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, at the most appropriate of their music video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band a lot publicity.
To date, the bands 2005 debut album, A Fever you Cant Sweat Out has bought over 750,000 contraptions. The band is currently headlining a North American summer excursion with The Dresden Dolls and The Hush Sound, a band also signed to Decaydance.
